Jackie Wright, LICSW (She/Her)

Jackie Wright, LICSW, has over fifteen years of experience as a therapist, specializing in providing individually tailored, evidence-based therapies for the sustainable treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Sleep Disorders, and Health Anxiety. Jackie also specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, and Exposure-based therapies. Jackie currently owns and operates the Minnesota Evidence-based Therapy and Assessment Clinic, LLC, with a focus on providing high quality, evidence-based care. She also advises, trains, and provides group learnings for a range of public and private organizations, and has an extensive background working with the Department of Veterans Affairs. She is an adjunct professor and guest lecturer at several universities, a national DBT trainer, and has been featured by the National Center for PTSD for her work in Prolonged Exposure. Jackie was raised in North Carolina, served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Zambia, has lived on both coasts, and has called the upper Midwest home for over 15 years.

Ren Stinson is board-certified in clinical psychology and has 10 years of previous experience in community mental health, universities counseling services, and the Veterans Health Administration. He received his doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Iowa where his research and clinical studies focused on multicultural psychology and PTSD. He currently specializes in treating trauma-related disorders, anxiety disorders, and chronic emotion regulation problems. Starting with a strong therapeutic relationship, he uses evidence-based psychotherapies to help clients meet their therapeutic goals. Ren is formally trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. He continues to hold a special interest in working with clients on multicultural issues including cultural identity development, coping with racism and other oppression, and LGBTQ health issues. Ren provides training and workshops on behavior therapies and multicultural psychology in the U.S. and Japan. Ren is originally from Oakland, California though has called the midwest his home for the past 20+ years.

Lynsey Miron, PhD, LP (She/Her)

Dr. Miron (she/her) specializes in treating trauma, depression, and anxiety-related concerns. She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Northern Illinois University, completed her clinical internship at the Durham VA Health Care System, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship specializing in Trauma and PTSD at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Miron is currently a Staff Psychologist and Supervisor in the Interprofessional Center for Counseling and Legal Services at the University of St. Thomas (UST). Prior to joining UST, Dr. Miron was a Clinical Supervisor at two Twin Cities Rogers Behavioral Health clinics, where she provided training and supervision in evidence-based care in the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for trauma and PTSD, OCD and anxiety disorders, co-occurring disorders, and depression.

Dr. Miron uses a culturally sensitive evidence-based approach in her work, combining the best science while tailoring therapy to each individual. Her goal is to deliver high-quality treatments in a supportive and collaborative manner to help clients experience freedom and movement toward living a life that is fulfilling and joyful.

Dr. Meyers is board certified in clinical psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology.  She specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), couples therapy, and the treatment of anxiety disorders, including PTSD.  Dr. Meyers received her doctorate in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of South Carolina, completed internship at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System, and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Minneapolis VA Healthcare System in the areas of serious mental illness (i.e., PTSD and Borderline Personality Disorder) and health psychology.  She has provided numerous national trainings and consultations in DBT and has served as a national consultant for Prolonged Exposure (PE) for PTSD.  She values having a genuine relationship with the clients she treats, combining her 10+ years of experience treating a broad range of disorders and the most up-to-date scientific literature, to develop an approach tailored to an individual’s unique needs and goals.

Laura Meyers, PhD, ABPP (She/Her)
Sarah Rinehart, PhD, LP (She/Her)

Dr. Rinehart specializes in the treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Psychosis, Substance Use, and PTSD. She works with teenagers, couples, and adults. She uses a humanistic approach to meet clients where they are at, and tailors evidence based cognitive behavioral and mindfulness therapies to assist clients in making empowered changes in their lives. She received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where her research focused on sexual harassment and homophobia. She also taught courses in social justice and career theory and incorporates these topics into her work with clients. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the New Mexico VA and her postdoctoral fellowship at the Minneapolis VA in the emphasis area of Serious Mental Illness (i.e. Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, and Major Depressive Disorder). During her fellowship, she co-created a training for sexual harassment prevention and intervention that she provides to medical trainees and staff across the country. She was previously the clinical director of a residential treatment program for veterans dealing with psychosis and substance use disorders.

Dan Conybeare is a licensed psychologist with over 10 years of clinical experience. He received his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, with specialized training at the Minneapolis VA, the Jesse Brown VA in Chicago, and the University of Illinois Hospital. He is a National Training Consultant for Prolonged Exposure for PTSD in Primary Care and has developed VA treatment programming to treat male survivors of sexual assault. He is also a VA Geriatric Scholar with expertise in older adult mental health. He has completed extensive training in a wide variety of evidence-based psychotherapies rooted in cognitive-behavioral principles, including treatments for posttraumatic stress, insomnia, anxiety, depression, sexual dysfunction, substance use problems, and relationship conflict. In addition to psychotherapy, he provides evidence-based psychological assessments for personality, psychological disorders, and ADHD. He works with adults and couples of all ages and social backgrounds, with particular expertise in trauma survivors, military personnel, veterans, and older adults. Dan grew up in Iowa City and has lived on both coasts and in the South, but is now happily rooted in Saint Paul. Outside of work, he loves mountain biking, backpacking, and fostering rescue dogs.

Erin Blase, LICSW (She/Her)
 
 
Erin Blase, LICSW, earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of St. Thomas. Erin completed her practicum placement at a major Minneapolis hospital with a focus on inpatient mental health. Erin has served in community mental health in both hospital and outpatient settings for over 10 years, training specifically in Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and crisis management. Erin has experience working with adults on a range of psychological needs; anxiety, trauma, depression, and crisis. She is most interested in working with adults experiencing grief, loss, and transition, such as from college life to the workforce, postpartum, and changing roles across the lifespan. Born and raised in the great state of Minnesota, Erin enjoys skiing, reading, and traveling.  Erin’s goal as a therapist is to walk alongside patients as they re-discover meaning, joy, and purpose.
 
 
 
Sara Himmerich is a licensed clinical psychologist with experience treating a broad range of disorders, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance use, and insomnia. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Northern Illinois University with extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy and a research focus on emotion regulation, posttraumatic stress, and alcohol use. She completed her clinical internship and postdoctoral residency at the Minneapolis VA Healthcare System. Dr. Himmerich has therapy and assessment experience in academic medical centers, VA health systems, and private practice. Dr. Himmerich has a strong foundation in evidence-based therapy, including Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Brief Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Substance Use Disorders, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She has specific interest and training in the association between self-compassion and mental health and has published and presented on these topics nationally. Dr. Himmerich enjoys working with both individuals and couples and values an authentic, collaborative relationship in therapy. She utilizes a culturally sensitive approach to therapy in order to deliver treatment that helps clients meet their unique goals and move in a valued direction. Dr. Himmerich grew up in Minnesota and spent time in China, California, and Illinois before returning to re-establish roots in Minnesota.

Julia Langer, PhD, LP (she/her)
Dr. Langer (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience treating a range of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring substance abuse. She completed her graduate work at Washington University in St. Louis before returning to Minnesota where she completed her internship at Hennepin Healthcare and her postdoctoral training at the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Hospital. Dr. Langer has specialized training in a variety of evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness. Dr. Langer believes in fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that honors each individual’s unique identities and experiences. Dr. Langer practices with cultural humility and sensitivity for all aspects of diversity including racial diversity, gender diversity, age, and sexuality. Dr. Langer works with adults (ages 18 and up) and has extensive experience working with veterans, older adults, and trauma survivors.
